Doctor Morris earned both her bachelor's degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida. (Go Gators!!) She purchased Clear Lake Animal Hospital in 2011. Dr. Morris is an active member of AAHA, AVMA, FVMA, and PBVS. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, spending time with her husband, their 2 daughters, and 3 dogs, reading, and cooking.
Dr. Morris has always had a passion for animal welfare and rescue. In 2014 she began working with Pet Haven Rescue, a cage-free rescue sanctuary located in Loxahatchee, FL. In 2015 she became a board member for Pet Haven and believes in their mission statement: "Compassion is contagious... pass it on."
In 2014 Dr. Morris also began working with Greyed A Greyhound Assistance and Placement Services, an organization dedicated to providing assistance with medical costs, rehabilitation, and rehoming retired greyhounds. Dr. Morris provides medical care, spays, and neuters before these gentle athletes are ready to find their forever homes.
In 2017 Dr. Morris began working with Kibblez of Love, an organization that rescues the most medically needy dogs from our local shelters. Dr. Morris provides treatment to these dogs before they find their furever homes. Kibblez of Love also runs a pet food bank that provides food for dogs whose human parents are in financial need.
The Redland Rockpit Abandoned Dog Project is another rescue that Dr. Morris has had the pleasure of working with starting in 2017. This rescue helps provide medical care, foster homes, and love to dogs that are abandoned in the Redland area of Florida.
Dr. Morris also started working with The Doberman Rescue League in 2017. This rescue provides foster homes, medical treatment, and love for Dobermans until they find their furever homes.
